Becoming a parent is a life-changing experience, and it can bring a mix of emotions that are sometimes difficult to talk about. Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period can feel exciting and joyful, but they can also bring anxiety, sadness, overwhelm, uncertainty, or a sense of losing touch with yourself.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) therapist in the St. Louis area, I specialize in supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood. I work with clients experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and the many emotional changes that can come with becoming a parent.
My practice also includes providing third-party reproductive psychological assessments for individuals and couples pursuing donor conception and gestational surrogacy. I have completed specialized training in reproductive mental health through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) This training has deepened my understanding of the emotional, psychological, and relational experiences that can accompany infertility and assisted reproduction.
In addition to this speciality, I also provide therapy to adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, relationship concerns, and other emotional challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based approaches, and other evidence-based interventions, tailoring therapy to each person’s needs and goals.
My goal is to provide a space where you can be honest about what you are experiencing, feel understood, and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges and transitions.
