Clinical Therapist

Jenna Poppe, MA, NCC, PLPC

After 20 years in the corporate world, I found my calling in helping people navigate life’s most challenging transitions, feelings, relationships and curve balls. I work with individuals and couples who are ready for change and need some help healing, building new skills, breaking unhelpful patterns, or simply figuring out where to go from here. If you want to face trauma that keeps sneaking into your current life and relationships, learn a new approach to tackle anxiety, hopelessness, analysis paralysis or relationship challenges (or if you aren’t even sure what you need yet!), I’m glad you’re here.

I will go all in with you and meet you exactly where you are—with humor, honesty, and heart. My clients describe me as authentic, empowering, analytical, and deeply compassionate, a mix that helps people ask hard questions, find their strength, and actually feel better. As one peer put it: “You know that friend who makes you feel heard, validated, and hopeful? That’s Jenna.”

I use a person-centered, strengths-based approach to guide clients in the way that works best for each person or couple and their goals. I use a conversational eclectic approach while providing evidence-based and goal-oriented care. Some modalities I use include CBT, REBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, solution-focused, and strengths-based therapies. I hold a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, have completed basic training in resilience-based EMDR.

Let’s do this work together in a space that feels real and supportive. Where you can show up as yourself, explore what’s holding you back, and discover what’s next. My goal is to bring warmth, authenticity, and even a little humor to the process so you can feel understood and empowered to create lasting change. I’m truly looking forward to meeting you.
