I believe everyone deserves to live as their most authentic self. However, life’s challenges and societal pressures can make us lose sight of who we truly are. Over time, we may shape ourselves to fit expectations that don’t reflect our core values.  In this process of fitting in, we not only disconnect from our core identity, but we may also find ourselves drawn to relationships and opportunities that don’t align with our deepest values and purpose. And without even realizing it, suddenly, we’ve abandoned ourselves.

This disconnect takes a toll on our mental health, leading to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, lack of motivation, feelings of inadequacy, and more. Reconnecting with our true selves starts by understanding what caused the disconnect. It requires a commitment to learning, unlearning, healing, and embracing who we are at our core.

As a therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals — from middle school age to older adults— navigate life changes, family struggles, relationship challenges, academic and/or work stress, trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for self-discovery, healing, and authenticity. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR therapy, an evidence-based approach for processing trauma and distressing experiences.

Seeking therapy is a powerful step toward healing. Whether this is your first time or you’re returning for deeper work, I commend you for taking this step. If you feel we may be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out. I look forward to connecting with you!
