I have dedicated over a decade to working with children and teens, driven by a passion for positively impacting the youth in the St. Louis area. My career began as a middle school choir director, a role I held for five years, before transitioning to elementary school counseling and clinical therapy for children and adolescents. Building strong, trusting connections with young people is at the heart of my work. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where they can explore the challenges they are facing and feel truly heard and supported. Knowing someone genuinely cares can make all the difference—especially for a struggling child or teen.

I specialize in addressing anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, self-compassion, career exploration, anger management, emotional regulation, relationship issues, social skills, depression, and resilience. For children and teens who may find it difficult to express their feelings verbally, I incorporate play-based and art-based therapy as effective tools for communication and healing. I also utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Narrative Techniques, to help clients challenge negative thinking while validating their emotions and experiences.

As a lifelong learner, I understand the pressures of academic life firsthand. Currently, I am pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Mental Health in Schools, which allows me to deeply relate to students’ experiences and how overwhelmed they may feel. I am committed to supporting the young people in your life by being a positive presence and helping them build the tools they need to thrive.

I look forward to partnering with you to support your child or adolescent on their journey toward growth and well-being. Together, we can create a meaningful and lasting impact in their lives.
